Air Buddha Plane crashes near Kathmandu


A small plane of Air Buddha carrying foreign tourists to view Mount Everest crashed in bad weather near Nepal's capital Kathmandu on Sunday, killing all 19 people on board.

Funeral procession of Ayaz - Azharuddin's son

On 16th of September, 2011 Azharuddin's son Ayazuddin (aged 19) died at Apollo hospital, Hyderabad. He sustained critical injuries after the Suzuki GSX-R1000 he was riding, skidded off the road at Puppalguda on Outer Ring Road on 11th of September. Ayazuddin's cousin, Ajmal-ur-Rahman (16) who was riding pillion, was also declared dead being brought to the hospital. 

Ayaz's funeral prayer was attended by thousands of people, offered at the historic Mecca Masjid. He was laid to rest at the Riyasath Nagar Graveyard. Ayazuddin was the younger of the two sons of Azharuddin from his first wife Naureen.

Ayazuddin was the member of Hyderabad under-16 team. He was right-handed batsman and a decent off spinner. He had also started playing for the State Bank of India from this season; and had played a crucial innings last season to help the East Marredpally Cricket Club win the two-day A-Division title.

Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi funeral




Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, or M.A.K. Pataudi (5 January 1941, Bhopal - 22 September 2011, New Delhi), nicknamed Tiger Pataudi, was an Indian cricketer and one-time captain of the Indian cricket team. He was the ninth and last Nawab of Pataudi until 1971, when India abolished royal entitlements through the 26th Amendment to the Constitution of India.


Pataudi, 70, was admitted to New Delhi's Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on 22 September 2011 with an acute lung infection. The infection was caused by chronic interstitial lung disease which prevented his lungs from exchanging oxygen properly. He died of respiratory failure on 22 September 2011 at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. His burial took place at Pataudi near Delhi on 23 September 2011.

Pataudi was the father of Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan; and husband of actress Sharmila Tagore. His other daughter Saba Ali Khan is a jewellery designer.
